“ENUF: A Celebration of Black Joy and Expression" blends elements of improvisation and choreographed movement, painting, poetry reading and performance, and acapella vocals and percussion. Dancer and writer Lovar Davis (L.D.) Kidd, writer and visual artist Akwi Nji, vocalist Alicia Monee, and musician EJ Swavv join forces for the first-of-its-kind collaborative, interdisciplinary live performance. Through dynamic interactions, the performers weave together their talents on stage, creating a rich tapestry of movement, sound, visual art, and spoken word. Taking place during the week of Juneteenth, "ENUF" is an homage to joy, creativity, spirituality, and the affirmations of being "enough" as both creatives and Black Americans.
